There’s definitely a chill in the air, and with winter right around the corner, we’ve thought up some fun, winter-themed activities for you and your family! Bundle up and head out to Rondeau to participate in an Owl Prowl or Winter Tree ID hike…or join us in the Visitor Centre for a nice warm cup of cocoa while you make Christmas cards for your loved ones. There is something for all ages! Check out the activity sheet below!
Just to give visitors to Rondeau Park a “head’s up”, Kent Bridge Road will be closed between Rose Beach Line and New Scotland Line until November 30 for bridge maintenance. See the map below to help plan an alternate route to the park.

It’s that time of year again! As the cool weather approaches, it is time to bid farewell to the Monarch butterflies once again. Join us for guided butterfly hikes, Monarch tagging demonstrations, the Adopt-a-Monarch program, a local artisan show, a native plant sale, crafts and face painting and a BBQ lunch!
All activities will take place this Sunday, September 20th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Rondeau Visitor Centre! Call 519-674-1768 for more information.

School’s back in but the Visitor Centre is still open Thursday-Sunday from 10am – 4pm. You can also still visit us on weekends and check out some great programs! Be sure to mark our Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup and Monarch Migration Festival in your calendars!
The 4th annual Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup at Rondeau Provincial Park will take place on September 13! We have had excellent success in the past three years and hope to continue the trend this year!
A complimentary BBQ will be held after the cleanup for all registered volunteers- please register in advance by calling the Visitor Centre @519-674-1768 or registering online @ http://www.shorelinecleanup.ca/en/cleanup/event/fall2015/rondeau-park
The cleanup will begin promptly at 10am, so come anytime after 9am to finalize your registration.
